Re: CSTS-09 Proctoring
On Friday March 30th, 2012 the Alberta Construction Safety Association - Board of Directors approved a motion to discontinue the requirement for the proctoring of final tests within the CSTS-09 program. This motion had a provision of acceptance and endorsement by the Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA). On April 4th, 2012 the COAA - Safety Committee voted to endorse the continued use of CSTS-09 without the requirement for proctoring.
Notice:
As of April 5th, 2012 the ACSA will be removing the proctor lock on all CSTS-09 exams. Students will now be able to complete the CSTS-09 program through any internet access point of their choice. The ACSA will continue to accommodate students who wish to purchase a seat and book lab appointment with us to complete the CSTS-09 course in our Edmonton and Rocky View (Calgary) branches. Due to the elimination of proctoring the ACSA will no longer need the external proctors. All proctor licenses and applications will be suspended and turned off.
