The follow is common errors and answers that can be displayed durning the installation or running of the program.

| activeX control errors | - Windows XP HOME/PRO SP1/Windows 2000/Windows 98 SE - download the latest MDAC version from Microsoft web site, or by clicking HERE. - Windows XP HOME/PRO SP2 - repair/reinstall the MDAC V2.8 that is already installed on your system. Please review the following documentation - user must have administrative privileges on the workstation - if using anti virus software, uninstall CSTS, disable any anti-virus software and re-install CSTS |
| ODBC call failed | - must have administrative privileges when logging onto the workstation - database file (C:\SAFE-T-Disc\Database\ STD_CBT.mdb) must be read/write enabled - the student's name may have been previously used. Log into Safe-T-Disk as the administrator, and delete the user. * Restart the computer and log in again. |

| run this program from UMS | - do not use a hyphen, apostrophe, or spaces when logging in a student (example: for O’BRIAN use OBRIAN) |
| Video not playing | Replace the ACSTS.ini (Configuration Settings file), located in C:\SAFE-T-Disc\Courses\ACSTS folder, with the one provided. |
| Missing certificate numbers after export | If we contacted you regarding missing certificates in your export files, download and replace the existing MdbForExport.mdb file located in C:\Program Files\CBT Export. |
